LINKS melaksanakan program bakti sustainability dengan berperan sebagai fasilitator pada pemetaan partisipatif untuk penegasan batas dan penetapan buffer zone kawasan pemukiman kelompok keluarga besar M. Zein dari kawasan HCV Kumai Estate PT Surya Sawit Sejati (PT SSS) di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah.

LINKS implemented a Bakti Sustainabilityprogram by acting as a facilitator in the participatory mapping forestablishing boundaries and the buffer zones of the settlement area of ​​M. Zein family group from the HCV Kumai Estate area of ​​PT Surya Sawit Sejati (PT SSS) in Kotawaringin Barat Regency, Central Kalimantan Province.
The participatory mapping carried out at the request of M. Zein extended family to follow up on the RSPO recommendation letter number: 023/RILO-DIR/XII/2018. This participatory mapping was held on February 2-3, 2019 involving representatives of M. Zein extended family, plantation staffs and biodiversity division ofPT SSS.
With the implementation of this program, it is expected that members of the big family group of M. Zein can understand well the boundaries and boundary signs for the development and arrangement of their residential areas, as well as play an active role and develop partnerships with companies in maintaining and protecting the HCV areas in Kumai Estate – PT SSS. Thus, the environmental carrying capacity can be built/preserved simultaneously in which accompanies the sustainability of M.Zein extended familylifeand the continuity of PT SSS business.
